About Deborah A. Reperowitz
Mediator, Arbitrator, ADR Advisor
Deborah A. Reperowitz combines 30 years of law firm practice with C-level experience at publicly traded companies to serve as an independent arbitrator, mediator and consultant. She possesses strong business acumen and interpersonal skills and is known for her ability to neutralize situations and find creative, pragmatic solutions to commercial disputes.
As a law firm litigator and transactional attorney for twenty years, Ms. Reperowitz has had extensive experience negotiating and resolving complex and diverse disputes across a broad range of industries. She further honed her problem solving skills serving as Chief Litigation Counsel at a publicly-traded, international financial services company and as the general counsel to a financial management company with more than $20 billion under management. Ms. Reperowitz also served as a member of the board at a for-profit and multiple non-profit entities.
Ms. Reperowitz has served as a client advocate or as a party in more than 50 mediation and arbitration proceedings. For the past ten years, Ms. Reperowitz increasingly has dedicated her practice to serving as a neutral in ADR proceedings and now focuses entirely on ADR. She has served as the mediator or arbitrator in more than 150 commercial disputes, most of which involve complex factual and legal issues, as well as high stakes. Ms. Reperowitz is listed as an arbitrator and mediator on several panels, including those maintained by the American Arbitation Association (Complex Commercial and Bankruptcy) and CPR (Financial Services.) She also is included on the list of mediatiors maintained by the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. For the past three years, she has been ranked nationally by Chambers USA as a leading mediator.
